Jakarta — Prabowo Subianto, the Indonesian Minister of Defense and President-elect for the period 2024-2029, attended the unveiling of the Indonesian national team’s jersey for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The event took place at Nusantara Garden, The Dharmawangsa Hotel, South Jakarta, on Friday (5/6).
Prabowo arrived at the launch event at 17:30 WIB and was welcomed by Raja Sapta Oktohari, the Chairman of the Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI), Anindya Bakrie, the Chef de Mission for the Indonesian contingent to the 2024 Paris Olympics, and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo.
Upon arriving at the venue, Prabowo greeted the guests and together viewed the “Red and White Jersey” designed by Didit Hediprasetyo for the Indonesian national team competing in the Paris 2024 Olympics, which was displayed at the exhibition.
“Yes, I received an invitation. It’s the Olympic jersey for our team. I think it’s good,” said Prabowo.
He expressed hope that the Indonesian team would perform optimally, brimming with spirit and confidence at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The main colors used by Didit in the jersey design are red and white, with the emblem of the Garuda bird prominently featured on the left chest.
Officially introduced on Thursday (4/7/2024), the jersey for the Indonesian team at the 2024 Paris Olympics has received widespread appreciation.
