Indonesian Diaspora in Middle East Supports Prabowo’s Leadership

President Prabowo Subianto’s recent visit to Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025 has sparked optimism and high hopes among members of the Indonesian diaspora, particularly students. The Indonesian community in Turkey, represented by Maulidya Nur Islami, expressed pride and happiness at the President’s visit, viewing it as a promising development for both nations. Likewise, Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif praised Prabowo for his personal attention and direct interaction with them during the visit, anticipating enhanced cooperation between Indonesia and Turkey in the future. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki, on behalf of the Indonesian community, shared excitement and hoped that Prabowo’s visit would serve as an inspiration for them to continue representing Indonesia positively. Furthermore, the Indonesian diaspora in Egypt welcomed Prabowo’s visit, believing it would have a favorable impact on educational advancement for Indonesian students in the country. Overall, members of the diaspora in these countries extended prayers and well wishes for Prabowo as he embarks on his leadership journey. Since April 9, President Prabowo has been engaged in official visits to various Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
