Rama, a single mother from Bogor Regency, West Java, found solace in the government’s Sekolah Rakyat (People’s School) for her son, Ridwan. The school, located in Sentra Terpadu Inten Suweno, Cibinong, Bogor, not only provides tuition-free education but also a safe and caring environment for children like Ridwan.
Rama, who has been struggling to raise her two children on her own, was initially hesitant about enrolling Ridwan in Sekolah Rakyat. However, after learning that the program was fully funded and hearing positive feedback from a social worker, she decided to give it a chance. Witnessing how the school treated her child with respect and care brought tears of relief and gratitude to Rama’s eyes.
Ridwan, who had faced bullying and struggled with reading in the past, now has the opportunity to receive a quality education in a supportive setting. Rama, grateful for the chance given to her son, dreams of him growing into a successful young man despite their challenging circumstances.
