Kwik, an influential economist and political figure, passed away at the age of 90 on Monday evening, July 28, 2025, at 10:00 PM (WIB). To Prabowo, Kwik was more than just an economist—he was a friend and mentor who provided valuable insights into the nation’s development trajectory. President Prabowo expressed his condolences and respect, acknowledging Kwik’s significant contributions to upholding the Pancasila economy and Article 33 of the Constitution.

Despite his failing health, Kwik remained active and engaged, continuing to share his perspectives and recommendations with the President until the end.
