President Prabowo Subianto attended the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) on Thursday. The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology in collaboration with ITB, featured exhibition booths showcasing innovative research products from universities like Padjadjaran University.
During his visit, President Prabowo greeted members of his Cabinet, the Governor of West Java, and other distinguished guests before delivering his remarks in the Sabuga Hall. The theme of KSTI 2025, “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” focuses on driving national economic transformation through research and technological innovation to establish a strong foundation for Golden Indonesia 2045.
The convention highlights exhibitions from eight national priority sectors, including energy, defense, digitalization, downstream industry development, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. KSTI 2025 aims to serve as a catalyst for economic growth and equity and is an integral part of the government’s strategy for long-term development.
