The 80th Independence Day celebration in Indonesia at the National Monument (Monas) in Jakarta was a vibrant event filled with cultural parades and heartfelt prayers for the nation’s future. Citizens from various regions gathered near the State Palace to express their gratitude and hopes for President Prabowo Subianto. Aryati, a resident of Karanganyar Subdistrict, expressed her joy and excitement at being part of the parade, emphasizing her desire for Indonesia to progress and prosper. She offered a special prayer for the President and all Indonesian citizens to live in peace and harmony.
Another participant echoed Aryati’s sentiment, stressing the importance of national unity and positive changes for the benefit of all Indonesians. The message of brotherhood and the avoidance of conflicts between different groups were also emphasized during the celebration. Satim, a resident of Kampung Rawa, Johar Baru, shared his happiness and pride in joining the event, expressing his wishes for Indonesia to achieve greater success, progress, prosperity, and welfare under strong leadership that protects and serves the people.
