Marc Marquez’s arrival at Ducati has strengthened the interest of large companies to maintain their support as sponsors for this Italian team. Companies with a long history in the world championship and personal ties with riders are eager to be part of the eight-time world champion team. Estrella Galicia, a beer manufacturer from Galicia, is among them, having joined the long list of Ducati team sponsors.
Estrella Galicia 0,0, in addition to being the official MotoGP drink and a personal sponsor to several Spanish riders like Marc and Alex Marquez, Joan Mir, and Alex Rins, is now the official beer sponsor for the Ducati Lenovo Team. The non-alcoholic Spanish beer brand proudly announced a wider agreement with the Borgo Panigale factory team in the MotoGP World Championship.
Marc Marquez, who had to resign from Red Bull to race with the Ducati factory team, will showcase the EG logo on his helmet. Meanwhile, Bagnaia will sport the Monster logo, an energy drink brand that also sponsors the team.
While there is no personal sponsorship agreement between the Galician company and the Turin-born rider, Estrella Galicia previously sponsored Pecco during his early years in racing, competing in the CEV with the Junior Estrella Galicia 0,0 Team from 2010 to 2012 before moving up to Moto3 in 2013. Before Ducati, Estrella Galicia also sponsored the Suzuki MotoGP team until their departure from the paddock in 2022.
On the other hand, ‘imagin’, a new digital bank from CaixaBank, recently announced a partnership with Marc Marquez. The six-time MotoGP champion will serve as the brand ambassador for the new debit card, which can be used for commission-free travel. This collaboration will kick off soon with digital broadcasts featuring Marquez promoting the new card, followed by him explaining its benefits on his journeys to Grand Prix events worldwide throughout the year.
